This TUNO canapé is one truly delicious appetizer which you can pull off in under 10 minutes. Reminiscent of a classic tuna salad canapé, this vegan version uses perfectly balanced, pre-seasoned Loma Linda’s Lemon Pepper TUNO. Making healthy appetizers has never been easier!
- Savory crackers of your choice (we picked a herb flavored cracker to compliment the TUNO salad)
- Lettuce of your choice
- 2-3 packets of Loma Linda’s Lemon Pepper TUNO
- 1 tbsp vegan mayo
- 1 red onion, finely chopped
- 1 small carrot, shredded
- Fresh parsley for garnishing
To prepare the TUNO salad, mix all the ingredients except lettuce and crackers together and keep aside.
For canapés, place lettuce on top of the crackers and load up with a generous scoop of TUNO salad. Serve immediately.
