Enjoy Sloppy Joe in a new way, by creating delicious mini pies and topping with cheese and onions. Made using just four, all-vegan ingredients, this recipe takes only 15 minutes to prepare these pies for an appetizer, a lunch, or to pack for a picnic.
- 1 can Loma Linda Sloppy Joe
- 10 store bought biscuit dough (choose any vegan brand)
- 1/2 cup vegan cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup green onions, finely chopped
Preheat the oven to 375F. Grease a muffin tray with a little butter and keep ready.
Take out the biscuit dough rounds and place in the muffin tray. Using your hands, spread the dough in the muffin to form the cup shape and leave a cavity in each cup for the filling.
Add spoonful of Sloppy Joe filling in each dough cup. Sprinkle a little vegan cheese on top of each cup
Bake the cups for 8-10 minutes depending on the need. The cups are done when the biscuits are golden brown.
Add the green onions on top and more vegan cheese (optional). Serve immediately.
