Kick up your next cookout with neat Original plant-based salsa burgers!
1 package neat Original Mix
½ cup salsa
4 hamburger buns
4 slices plant-based cheese
1 handful of cilantro, chopped
1 avocado, sliced
2 tablespoons Avocado oil, or cooking oil of choice
Preheat 1 tablespoon oil in a non stick skillet over medium heat. In a bowl, add salsa one spoonful at a time to the neat meat mix. Keep adding salsa until the mix is thoroughly moist, yet still formable. Form mixture into 4 equal size patties. Cook each pattie until browned on each side, about 3 minutes each side. When the burger is flipped to the second side, add 1 slice of cheese so it can begin to melt. Toast each bun in a toaster or griddle. Add the cooked burger to the bun and top with fresh cilantro and a few slices of the avocado. Serve with extra salsa, if desired, and dig in and enjoy your burger with a kick!
