Kaffree Roma Plant-Based Ice Cream

We all scream for caffeine-free Kaffree Roma ice cream!  This recipe is surprisingly plant-based and the perfect alternative to traditional coffee flavored ice cream.

 

SERVINGS: Makes 8 servings.

 

INGREDIENTS:

Cashew Cream:

⅔ cup raw cashews

1 cup boiling water

3/4 cup cold water

 

Ice Cream:

1 ½ cups full fat canned coconut milk

1 cup sugar

¼ water

⅔ cup cacao butter, chopped

½ cup coconut oil

½ cup Kaffree Roma granules

1 tablespoon cocoa powder

⅓ cup coconut sugar

Pinch of salt

 

DIRECTIONS:

You will need an electric ice cream maker, such as the Cuisinart Ice Cream Machine.  The day before making this recipe, place the bowl of the ice cream maker in the freezer to completely freeze.  

First, make the cashew cream. In a bowl, pour the boiling water over the cashews and let sit for 1 hour or more.  Drain the cashews and add them to a high speed blender.  Add the cold water and blend until completely smooth.

Irish Coffee with Kaffree Roma

Cheers to National Irish Coffee day or ANY day!  This non-alcoholic version of a favorite Irish drink will bring relaxation with every sip!

 

SERVINGS: Makes 2 servings.

 

INGREDIENTS:

2 tablespoons Kaffree Roma

16 oz hot water (preferred drinking temperature, not boiling)

4 teaspoons brown sugar

½ teaspoon rum extract

plant-based whipped cream for topping

cocoa powder for dusting

2-3” shamrock cut out (print out clip art and cut out)

 

DIRECTIONS:

In an Irish coffee glass mug, add 1 tablespoon of Kaffree Roma, 2 teaspoons brown sugar, and ¼ teaspoon rum extract to each mug.  Pour 8 oz. of hot water into each mug and stir to dissolve the sugar.  Cover the top of each mug evenly with whipped cream.  Use a knife to smooth out the top of the whipped cream.  Place the cut out in the center of the mug and dust the whipped cream until coated with cocoa powder, remove the cut out to reveal the white shamrock.  …

Kaffree Roma Candy Cane Mocha

Sweet flavors of the holidays swirl together in this perfect drink for sipping by the fire!

 

SERVINGS: Makes 1 serving.

 

INGREDIENTS:

2 teaspoons Kaffree Roma

1 tablespoon hot chocolate mix

1 ½ cups milk or plant-based milk

1 regular size candy cane

Crushed candy cane

Plant-based whipped cream

Chocolate sauce for drizzle

 

DIRECTIONS:

On the stovetop or in the microwave, heat the milk to preferred drinking temperature, do not boil.  Pour the milk into your favorite mug.  Stir the milk with the candy cane until it begins to melt, leave the candy cane in the warm milk to infuse peppermint flavor.   Add Kaffree Roma and hot chocolate and stir with the candy cane until the granules are dissolved.   Top with whipped cream, crushed candy cane pieces, and chocolate drizzle.  Cozy up by the fire and enjoy!

Kaffree Roma Gingerbread Latte

A whole latte joy!  The gingerbread latte is a favorite holiday cookie and a cozy drink all in one!

 

SERVINGS: Makes 1 serving.

 

INGREDIENTS:

Gingerbread Syrup

2 Tablespoons brown sugar

¼ cup coconut sugar

⅓ cup water

1 ½ tablespoons molasses

½ teaspoon ground ginger

½ teaspoon cinnamon

¼ vanilla bean, scraped

 

Latte

2 teaspoons Kaffree Roma

1 ½ cups plant-based milk

1 tablespoon gingerbread syrup

Cinnamon for dusting

 

DIRECTIONS:

On the stovetop, in a saucepan over medium low heat, combine all syrup ingredients.  Heat and stir until sugar is completely dissolved.  Syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week.   In another pan on the stovetop or in the microwave, heat the milk to preferred drinking temperature, do not boil.  Alternatively, use a milk frother to heat and froth the milk.  Add the Kaffree Roma granules and 1 tablespoon of the gingerbread syrup to your favorite mug.  Pour ¼ of the heated milk into the mug and stir until the granules are …

Kaffree Roma Oat Milk Latte

Oat milk makes for the creamiest, most flavorful plant-based latte.  With Kaffree Roma, you can now enjoy your latte without the caffeine jitters…so maybe you should even have two! 

 

SERVINGS: Makes 1 serving.

 

INGREDIENTS:

2 teaspoons Kaffree Roma

1 ½ cups plant-based milk

 

DIRECTIONS:

In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, vigorously whisk together Kaffree Roma and the oat milk until the Kaffree Roma is dissolved and the milk is warmed to drinking temperature.  The more you whisk, the frothier your latte will become!  Pour into your favorite mug, sip, and savor!

Kaffree Roma Mocha Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Rich, decadent, soft and chewy chocolate cookies with just the right touch of mocha flavor from Kaffree Roma. 

 

SERVINGS: Makes 2 dozen cookies.

 

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups All Purpose Flour

¾ tsp. baking soda

½ tsp. Salt

2 tsp. Cocoa powder

¼ cup Kaffree Roma

1 c. softened plant-based butter

½ c sugar

½ c brown sugar

1 egg or plant-based egg substitute such as the neat egg

2 c. Enjoy Life plant-based choc chips or chocolate chunks

 

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl of a stand mixer, blend butter with sugar and egg.  In a separate bowl, mix together dry ingredients.  Gradually add dry ingredients to the butter blend.  Add chocolate chunks and stir until the chocolate is evenly dispersed.
